2022---psychology--signs-by-which-you-can-recognize-emotional-blindness Site

Alexithymia, or emotional blindness, is a psychological trait characterized by an inability to identify, process, or describe internal emotions and the emotions of others. Key indicators include a limited emotional vocabulary, the misinterpretation of physical sensations as purely medical, and a preference for logical, externally oriented thinking over emotional reflection. This condition, which can function as a defense mechanism against trauma or a feature of neurodivergence, often manifests as a lack of empathy and a "feeling" void, resulting in functional, non-emotional communication styles.
