The door clicks shut. The "Buzz-Pop" of the neon sign continues. Maya stands in the center of the room, alone, as the record finally reaches the end of the side, the needle clicking rhythmically in the groove.

MAYA stands by the window, watching the motel sign flicker. Buzz. Pop. Dark. Buzz.
