Quidding-salvia

"Quidding" is the traditional Mazatec method of consuming Salvia divinorum by chewing fresh leaves into a ball (a "quid") and holding it in the mouth for sublingual absorption. This method results in a slower onset (about 10–20 minutes) and a longer, gentler experience (up to 1–2 hours) compared to smoking.
